Publisher Problems

It turns out that there are a lot of “vanity” publishers who will publish any book, for a price. Couple that fact with the abundance of cookbooks and it becomes a recipe for being taken advantage of. I believe I found the perfect publisher for us. Thanks to avoiding vanity publishers, the final price of the cookbook will be lower too.

The price of the cookbook is, without any possible confusion, a great deal. A 15oz of decent margarine in the grocery store is $4 while our recipe will drop it to $0.50. Going out to dinner costs $20/person. Buying a good cookbook for $50 is a great deal. Our cookbook will be in the $20-$35 range.

We’re still keeping the bar raised high on our recipes and are taking about 2 days/recipe to perfect. With over 130 recipes left, we’re looking at a summer release.

We will have a digital version. Lots of pictures.

    Our family is beyond excited for this cookbook! We never made it into the restaurant as often as we would have liked, since eating out is expensive. That’s why I am only now finding out that the restaurant closed, but to have that sorrow immediately mitigated by finding out you are creating a cookbook and making plans for the future of your vegan-food-making talents is awesome!

    I can’t wait to get my hands on your cookbook. If you have any sort of mailing list for updates, please put me on it!

      We were/are the real deal, promise. But our secrets and techniques will be shared. I strongly suspect there will be a few customers that will purchase our cookbook for their favorite restaurant to incorporate. As far as family recipes, we have plenty. Large meals and staples are plentiful. You’ll never want to buy vegan mayo or margarine again. We have better recipes for a fifth or less the cost. Thanks Fred!

        I bought the print copy and will also purchase the digital so that I can pass the print version to a friend. What sauces were on the zippy piggy? I really miss that sandwich and want to make it as soon as possible.
